Having first started making cakes back in 2004 I have never looked back. Entirely self taught I love the creativity of what I do, there really are no limits to what you can make. I rarely use dummies opting for the cake and its detail to be entirely edible as much as possible as for me that's part of the challenge of its creation. Carving and sculpting is a real favourite of mine as you can see from the Frisian and Horse below the results can be amazing and I've been fortunate to have won Gold, Bronze and Silver awards over the years.

In pride of place was a single tier cake with custom cake topper which was surrounded by a variety of chocolate biscuit slices, macrons, cake pops and gluten free cupcakes. The log stands, bases, lights and faux flowers were supplied by the couple.
The couple themselves were delighted with the display "Thanks a million, the cake table exceeded our expectations 100%, there was just a couple of cupcakes left by the end of the night" Thank you to Tracy & Dave, it was a pleasure to work with you x First BirthdayI loved every minute of creating this fab 1st Birthday cake for Colton and his family recently. My brief had been 'under the sea' with a turtle taking centre stage.
The base tier was chocolate biscuit cake with the coral and turtle made from vanilla, raspberry and white chocolate cake. The shells (which were painted pearlescent), seaweed, fish and sand were all edible and I'm delighted to say the cake went down a treat. "Just to say a massive thank you again for the stunning cake. Our guests couldnt stop talking about the talent and the creativity, plus it tasted so good! It exceeded our expectations. Thanks again". Thank you Lisa & Kevin. |
